| Fees
The beginners course is £30 (inc £5
refund towards joining the GNAS) for 5 lessons of
around 1.5hrs. All equipment is supplied and you can continue to
use club equipment for a few more weeks after the course is
completed depending on the number of beginners at the time for
£1 per session. At this time we have a minimum age of 13yrs for
juniors.
Once completed, you
have to join the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS) for
insurance purposes along with the Welsh Archery Association
and the Glamorgan Archery Association. Total cost will be £43
for adults and £24 for juniors. These fees are for Oct 1st
2009 to Sept 30th 2010. If your course finishes after May 1st then you will not have to pay again until Sept
of the following year.
Club membership
fees are due in April and are at present £15 for adults, £10
for juniors and £40 for a family of 4. This fee is waived
until the April after you have completed the course. There are
plenty of competitions locally to enter, if not
just enjoy the sport on club nights.
Once you have been a
member for a year seniors may apply for a club shed key so you
can shoot outdoors whenever you like. Two people have to be
present when shooting outside and all safety equipment must be
deployed as depicted in the club rules.
